Agriculture has been a part of the Garvin Family for over 150 years. This tradition is carried on by their newest adventure: Sam's Valley Vineyard. The vineyard is nestled in a small valley with a hot, dry microclimate and soil rich in volcanic ash from Crater Lake. These natural elements, along with minimal water and careful attention from bud to harvest, produce the fruit used in this Cliff Creek Claret. The grapes wre crushed, aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels, blended and then aged 9 months further. This has created an elegant, classic blend that is well-balanced, with a beautiful bouquet.
